Hibernia General Trading L.L.C. was incorporated in Dubai on January 18, 2022, with a clear mandate: to bridge the gap between global petroleum producers and the businesses that depend on energy to power their operations. The name "Hibernia" — the classical Latin name for Ireland, meaning "land of winter" — reflects our commitment to steady, reliable supply even when market conditions are challenging.
Our founders recognized something missing in the UAE fuel supply market. Too many suppliers treated diesel as a commodity transaction — take the order, deliver the fuel, send the invoice, move on. There was no partnership, no accountability, no genuine care for the customer's operational continuity.
Hibernia Diesel was built differently from day one. We invested in relationships with top-tier refineries and producers across the Middle East, Asia, and beyond. We built a logistics network that covers all seven emirates. We hired a team that understands the difference between "delivering fuel" and "keeping a business running."
Today, we serve over 500 clients across more than 50 countries, delivering millions of litres of diesel, kerosene, fuel oil, bitumen, and specialty petroleum products annually. But our proudest metric isn't volume — it's the 94% client retention rate that tells us we're doing something right.
